This is the digipak we designed for an album for the band, on this digipak layout we have designed the front cover, back cover, inside front cover and the CD.

Edited Images

These are just two of the images i took for our practice photo-shoot. I am not very pleased with how they turned out as the images were way too bright and I didn't have much time to sort out the lights. Hopefully, our next shoot will turn out okay as I will have enough time to make sure the lights are sort out.

Magazine Cover

This is the magazine cover I designed for our band. I had a copy of a real magazine so that I could try and make them as similar as possible.

Contact Sheets - Test

These are the contact sheets from our practice photo-shoot, this was just preparation for the real shoot, just so that I could see what shots/lights etc. worked and what didn't. I think the group photos worked the best however the lighting was way too bright most of the time so I will need to make sure they work okay for the real shoot.

Inspirational Music Video Research

All Time Low have high similarity to Fall Out Boy therefore, we hope to incorporate some ideas from both Fall Out Boy and All Time Low. For example: the clothing used in both music videos seems to be  casual jeans and tops. The main idea for 'Dear Maria, Count Me In' was a woman in a strip club with the band playing, all the way through this video it switches between performance and narrative. We can get some good ideas from this video to use in our own (camera shots, mise en scene, location etc.).We have decided on a main structure with narrative and also live band so it will switch between each one. This will be a good idea as both Fall Out Boy and All Time Low uses this structure.

Photo-shoot Planning

This is a document showing our preparation for our photo-shoot. I have explained what style we are working towards, the lighting and camera shots we will use, how and when the photo-shoot will happen and i have also analysed some examples of album covers from signed bands (to get inspiration from images used).
